Everardo II, King of Lithuania

The opera was written in 1782 to celebrate the birth of Pedro III, King of Portugal, and never performed since its original premiere until 2013 when it was newly discovered by Lithuanian Spanish conductor Alexis Soriano at a royal archive in Spain. On the 10th and 11th of December in 2013 this opera was performed at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius for the first time since its only production in the 18th century.

On July 17, 2014 Aistė Ptakauskė adapted the opera for a stage on the lake of Galvė in Trakai, a historical capital of Lithuania, in front of a medieval castle of Lithuanian dukes.
