“Aristocrat of Ballet” (55′) is a documentary about renowned Lithuanian premier danseur Jonas Katakinas (1950–2005) who, even after stepping down from the big stage, desperately tried to live according to the values preserved by the aristocratic art form of ballet. Vivid memories of his colleagues, students, and family show us that the struggles of social re-integration that Jonas Katakinas experienced when he finished his dancing career 20 years ago are still an aching problem in the modern Lithuanian society.
